How we use internet in laptops
We simply open our mobile phones hotpot in order to transfer internet to other devices in a certain radius and connect it to our laptop. Simple and well known method.
But what if due to some reason Wi-Fi isn't working or you are using desktop and you need internet.
In this case we can simply transfer internet by you phones USB cable. Yes your USB cable commonly known as data cable can be used for internet.
Step by step process-
- Make sure mobile data is on in your phone if not then on it.
- Connect your cable one end to your phone and another end to your laptop or desktop.
- Go to the settings: other wireless connections :USB tethering and turn it on.
- If trouble finding USB tethering just search in the settings "USB tethering" and you find that and turn it on.
- Once desktop or laptop network icon will change you can start working on internet.
Most people find it useful in desktop where no need to attaché some other device to use phones internet or LAN wires.
